The historical WGI member network

An explanation of how the original World Games Inc membership system was organised.

World Games Inc operated through a membership network. Individuals registered as members — historically on a dedicated members.worldgamesinc.com system and via a “worldplayer” area — and participated in the company’s gaming and lottery products. In common with network-marketing models, members were also encouraged to introduce new members.

Why we do not reconstruct member profiles

Historical links exist to a number of individual member URLs. We deliberately do not recreate those personal profiles. Doing so would serve no informational purpose, could misrepresent real individuals, and is not something domain ownership entitles us to do. This single page exists to explain the system; individual historical member URLs resolve here.

What the network meant in practice

  • Membership gated access to the gaming/lottery products.
  • Recruitment of further members was part of the model.
  • This recruitment-driven structure was central to the pyramid-scheme criticism the venture received (see the WGI history).
